This Dublin back garden had potential but hadn't been touched in years. Uneven ground, no defined zones and poor drainage — the owners wanted a space their children could play in and they could relax in on weekends. Here's how we transformed it.
Planning the Layout
Early stage: new lawn laid, raised planters built and storage integrated into the layout.
We stripped back the old turf, addressed drainage issues and regraded the site. The clients wanted low maintenance without losing the green feel — so we combined fresh rolled lawn with porcelain patio areas and raised planters for easy-care shrubs.

Design & Build
We created three zones: a dining patio near the house, a lawn play area, and a quieter seating corner at the rear. Stepping-stone paths connect the zones without breaking up the garden visually. Block retaining walls level a slight slope and double as bench seating.
