Modern Tiled Patio with Built-In Seating — Dublin Garden Design

Dublin back gardens are often compact. Every square metre counts — which is why built-in seating is one of our most requested features. It removes the need for bulky furniture, creates clean lines and gives the garden a designed, architectural feel.

We build seat walls from blockwork, render or clad them to match the patio material. The standard seat height is 450mm with a 100mm cushion space — comfortable for adults and deep enough for storage underneath if the client wants it.

For this style of garden we favour large-format porcelain or natural limestone. The fewer grout lines, the more spacious the garden feels. We always sample tiles against the house brickwork and existing features before the client commits.
